Naples Empowering Women Group

Your monthly membership runs our online social network platform, covers staff time in organizing events and get-togethers, and allows us to offer you member-only discounts on other services of The Viral Energy Institute such as private mentorship, courses, day retreats, meditation and yoga classes, painting classes, and even tennis and pickleball court rental. Our fees are lower than many other membership group in Naples and intended to be accessible to all women.

FREE EVENTS

There are two types of free events in which member's are invited.

1. Our monthly "Happy Hour Mix & Mingles," are held in public places where there will be other people. While these events are free, they do not include food and beverage; your member benefits simply include getting an invite to our monthly events by way of announcements on our social network, plus via email to your inbox. Think of this exactly like your girlfriends inviting you to get together at a bar or restaurant after work: you pay for your own stuff, but you got the invite because you're in the friend group!
2. Other spontaneous or extra events. These are not promised with membership, yet now-and-then our team announces a free event outside of the usual monthly get-together. These could be a book reading by author Penelope Jean Hayes, the group Founder, or some other event to be announced.

PAID EVENT

There are two types of paid opportunities in which members are invited.

1. Member-exclusive events such as special guest speakers, live music concerts; group guided meditation, yoga, and painting; and more.
2. Regular services of The Viral Energy Institute are periodically offered at a discount such as limited-time discounts on mentorship (goal growth coaching), online courses; tennis or pickleball court rental; and more.

None of our events are mandatory; they are invitations.

Yes.

Yes. Whether a full-time resident, a seasonal resident, or you only visit Naples periodically, you will benefit from our supportive peer group and keep in touch with other members on our private social network.

(We even have members who only come to Naples once per year, including experts and guest speakers who like to keep in touch with our audience of members.)

Yes. When invited as the guest of a member, men are welcome to attend some events such as our live-music concerts (discount tickets will be sold), and periodically to our monthly Happy Hour.

When men are invited and encouraged to join, it will be made clear in the event announcement. Rest assured, there are great opportunities to bring your spouse/date/colleague to meet the group!

Yes. We encourage introducing your other female friends to the group by bringing them to our monthly Happy Hour Mix & Mingle. We also understand that some people don't like to arrive alone. Our monthly events are held in public places where there will be other people outside of our group, both men and women, so feel free to bring your friend(s).

(Still not clear if your male counterpart can come? We're not a group with futile rules, and no one should mind if your male spouse/partner joins a Happy Hour, yet as stated in the previous Q&A, when men are expressly invited, we'll let you know.)

Our entire reason for being is to host a space for women to gain inspiration, encouragement, support, and empowerment.

We are a group for moms, non-moms, furbaby moms, singles, married peeps, divorced women, gay women, working women, non-working women, 25-year-old women, 45-year old women, 75-year-old women, any woman 21 years old and over, women who need support and mentorship, and women who are role models for others.

Apart from our mission and philosophy of empowering women, we are unique in that we have our own social media network with functionality and benefits far beyond what is possible in a Facebook Group. Our Naples Empowering Women (N.E.W.) Platform has various chat threads for different topics (business, personal, referrals, etc.), optional challenges to participate in (i.e. 30 days of meditation; a year of mindfulness, etc.), a section for announcements, a mini-bio for each member to get to know each other, and more.

Because of our unique online network, our group facilitates members to stay in touch (even when not in town), see photos of each other's families and work and hobbies, hear about each other's challenges and triumps, and support one another through feedback and friendship.
